Job Title: French Speaking Purchase Ledger Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized French speaking Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our team at The Language Business. As a key member of our global finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of financial administration for our French speaking markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day support to the finance team to ensure the efficient processing of financial transactions.
  • Set up and maintain accurate supplier records.
  • Process invoices and credit notes with precision and attention to detail.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and prepare bi-monthly payment runs.
  • Complete month-end processes and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Liaise with internal customers and suppliers to resolve queries and issues.
  • Travel to our Belgium office 4 times per year to collaborate with the team.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in French is essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
