Job Opportunity: Secondary Teaching Assistant

Ribbons and Reeves Limited is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to fill the role of Secondary Teaching Assistant. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Summary:
  • Provide support to students in a secondary school setting, working closely with qualified teachers to deliver high-quality educational experiences.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, as well as provide individualized support to students with varying needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student success.
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate with teachers and parents as needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Support students in a whole-class, 1:1, and small group setting, providing tailored assistance to meet individual needs.
  • Work closely with experienced teachers to develop and implement lesson plans, ensuring a high-quality educational experience for students.
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of educational materials, including lesson plans, worksheets, and other resources.
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, working closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
