Chief of Office Job Description

We're seeking a seasoned leader to oversee airworthiness approvals for airframe and engine certification at Apera, a revolutionary aircraft startup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage airworthiness team and certification programs for aircraft and engines.
  • Act as Chief of the Office of Airworthiness per UK CAA Part 21J regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to execute testing, validation, and certification plans.
  • Provide Part 21 training and advise on safety and airworthiness.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in UK CAA and/or EASA Part 21J regulations for aircraft and engine certification.
  • Proven track record in aircraft certification, ideally with experience in general aviation, small business jets, or rotorcraft.
