About the Role

Parkside Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Sales Support Specialist to join our team. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales team members in the EMEA & Asia regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Sales Processes

Develop and maintain overall processes around sales and demand planning conversations, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between teams.

Document Sales Processes and Guides

Support the documentation of sales processes and step-by-step guides, providing clear and concise instructions for sales teams to follow.

Provide Data Insights and Analysis

Provide sales teams with necessary data extracts in a clear format, enabling them to make informed decisions and drive business growth.

Forecast Analysis and Planning

Produce phasing guidance on anticipated shipments at forecast partner (customer) / item level, ensuring accurate forecasting and planning.

GAP Analysis and Insights

Deliver GAP analysis, sharing insights with sales leads and key account managers, highlighting risks and opportunities with sales business plans in comparison to budget (target) and demand plans.

System Maintenance and Upgrades

Maintain the Connect Forecast tool, including system uploads and ensuring seamless integration with other systems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work cross-functionally with a commercial focus, collaborating with various teams to drive business growth and improve sales processes.

Communication and Reporting

Create PowerPoint presentations to concisely communicate insights to a variety of stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.

Support and Cover

Provide cover for direct line manager when necessary, providing ongoing support to provide structure around sales planning and internal communications.

KPI Tracking and Analysis

Implement KPI measures tracking both business plans and distribution expectations vs actuals, ensuring accurate tracking and analysis.

Sales Timetable and Forecast Partner Management

Maintain the sales timetable across the region, aiding deadline management and ensuring seamless communication with forecast partners.

System User Licenses and Customer Management

Maintain sales team user licenses, ensuring users are set up as appropriate, and manage forecast partner (customer) list, including approvals.

Process Improvement and Efficiency

Undertake initiatives and projects that reduce duplication, drive efficiency, and increase forecast accuracy, ensuring continuous improvement.

Customer Focus and Sales Tool Development

Determine ways to focus on key customers and support the development of sales tools and data views, ensuring a customer-centric approach.

Requirements
  • High Level of Attention to Detail

A high level of attention to detail, with the ability to identify inconsistencies and ensure accuracy in all aspects of the role.

Proven Experience in Sales Process Improvement

Proven experience providing process improvement and insights to sales teams, driving business growth and improving sales processes.

Excellent Analytical Skills

Excellent analytical skills, capable of creatively designing and delivering effective GAP analysis, and providing actionable insights to sales teams.

Ability to Prioritize and Meet Deadlines

Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work under pressure, ensuring seamless delivery of tasks and projects.

Approachable Character

Approachable character, with the ability to build strong relationships with sales teams and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
