Job Summary:

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetic to join our team in a leading healthcare provider in London. As a Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting in the delivery of anaesthetic services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized nursing/ODP care to patients in accordance with company policies and clinical guidelines.
  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure continuity of clinical practice and effective communication.
  • Assist the surgeon/anaesthetist/nursing/ODP colleagues as required, ensuring a smooth and efficient operating theatre environment.
  • Act as a member of the anaesthetic team, working collaboratively to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Cooperate with theatre staff to ensure correct patient positioning and prompt specimen collection and dispatch.
  • Check, witness, and administer controlled drugs in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Cooperate with departmental and ward staff to ensure timely patient transfer and post-operative care.
  • Participate in pre and post-operative visits as required, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of equipment safety and effective use.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrable clinical expertise relevant to the area of responsibilities.
  • Experience working in the independent sector, with a strong understanding of private healthcare.
  • Ability to organize and manage day-to-day departmental activities and a large multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to relate and communicate with patients and staff at all levels.
