Talent Engineering is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Safety and Compliance Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance Management

  • Lead the AOC and ATO Audit Plan as the primary auditor.
  • Conduct Internal Audits and assessments of subcontractor organizations, focusing on AOC and ATO compliance.
  • Oversee the resolution of findings and observations from audits.
  • Compile and prepare Compliance Monitoring performance metrics.
  • Create audit checklists in Centrik, specifically for AOC and ATO evaluations.
  • Assist in the approval process of Providers to facilitate operations and training.
  • Proactively address compliance concerns with all levels of management and staff.
  • Provide expert advice on compliance-related issues.
  • Support external auditing processes.
  • Act as a deputy for the Head of Safety and Compliance in their absence regarding AOC and ATO matters.

Safety Oversight

  • Promote a culture of safety as a core value in all activities.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Safety and Compliance and Safety Reporting Manager to enhance aviation safety initiatives.
  • Conduct investigations and root cause analyses related to operational and training safety incidents.
  • Facilitate the identification, documentation, and management of hazards through risk assessments.
  • Provide safety performance data and monitor Safety Performance Indicators.
  • Assist the Safety Reporting Manager in managing Safety Action Groups.
  • Contribute to the development of Safety Documentation, Information, Notices, and Newsletters.
  • Support the creation and delivery of safety training programs, including recurrent training.
  • Offer guidance on safety-related matters.

Qualifications:

Highly Desirable:

  • Understanding of CAA Regulations related to Operations and Management Systems.
  • Trained Auditor with experience in conducting internal audits for CAA/EASA Regulations.
  • Experience in incident investigation (Trained Investigator).
  • Proficient in using Centrik for Safety and Compliance management.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a safety or compliance role within the helicopter industry.
  • At least 5 years in flight or ground operations, maintenance, or continuing airworthiness management in a helicopter company.

Essential:

  • Ability to enhance the safety culture and earn the respect of colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of human and organizational factors.
  • Minimum of 5 years in flight or ground operations, maintenance, or continuing airworthiness management in an aviation-related company.
  • Willingness to undertake necessary training to achieve competency in safety and compliance tasks.

Training will be provided to the right candidate.
