Examiner - International Advanced Level - Mechanics

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Examiner to join our team at Pearson. As an Examiner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our marking processes.
About the Role:This is a unique opportunity to work with us as an Examiner, where you will be responsible for marking candidates' responses in accordance with our pre-defined mark scheme. You will work independently, using your expertise and knowledge to ensure that the marking process is fair and consistent.
Responsibilities:- Mark candidates' responses accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained
- Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times
- Ensure milestones for marking are adhered to
- Ensure all administration is completed as specified
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- One academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, within the relevant qualification and subject
- A degree or equivalent
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- A high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme
