Job Summary:

Coulter Elite Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contracts Manager to lead contract administration and project delivery activities across multiple projects. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the simultaneous delivery of high-quality projects to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contract Administration: Lead and oversee contract administration activities across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with contract forms, including the JCT suite, and managing all necessary statutory and regulatory consents.
  2. Project Delivery: Manage projects with a total value of £5-8m per financial year, ensuring efficient resource allocation and budget control, and overseeing project planning, including detailed construction programmes and stakeholder satisfaction.
  3. Team Leadership: Manage internal project teams, including design, contract administration, finance, and site staff, ensuring smooth project delivery and effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
  4. Risk Management: Monitor and report on project costs, risks, and procurement schedules, ensuring project milestones are met and client invoicing is up-to-date.
  5. Quality Control: Ensure the quality control process is robust, with works meeting contract specifications at all times, and lead design review meetings with internal teams, suppliers, and clients, driving continuous project improvement.
  6. Client Relationships: Act as the primary client contact, representing the company consistently and positively while managing stakeholder relationships, and lead the post-project close-out process, ensuring feedback is provided to internal teams and maintaining strong client relationships.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in managing contract administration and project delivery within the commercial fit-out or construction industry.
  2. Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations and industry best practices.
  3. Experience with managing multiple projects and budgets, with a track record of successful project outcomes.
  4. Proficiency in managing contracts, particularly with JCT forms.
  5. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  7. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members, with strong written and verbal skills.
  8. Ability to remain adaptable and responsive to project demands and changes.
  9. Key certifications such as SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, Fire Marshal, and Asbestos Awareness are required.
