The Role:

We are seeking a Senior Lecturer to join our Health and Nutrition Department, where you will be teaching and supporting students undertaking the Independent and Supplementary Prescribing programme (V300) for Registered Nurses.

This is a new programme for UCB, which has been approved by the NMC. We are looking for a Senior Lecturer with contemporary knowledge of prescribing and pharmacology, who has professional experience as a senior healthcare practitioner or pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and support students on the V300 programme
  • Develop and deliver curriculum content
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Contribute to the development of the Health and Nutrition Department

Requirements:

  • Contemporary knowledge of prescribing and pharmacology
  • Professional experience as a senior healthcare practitioner or pharmacist
  • Ability to teach and support students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
