About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Lecturer/Senior Business Lecturer to join our dynamic team at Elizabeth School of London. As a key member of our academic staff, you will contribute to the delivery of business programs with renowned university partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and Learning: Provide high-quality teaching and learning across a range of programs within a Higher Education setting, particularly Foundation year in Business and Law.
- Tutoring: Tutor students, offering appropriate support to enable them to achieve their goals and progress to positive destinations.
- Course Development: Contribute to the development and continual improvement of courses, coordinating effectively with both staff and students.
- Module Development: Develop module materials for each of the modules being undertaken.
- Subject-Specific Sessions: Provide/Deliver/Facilitate subject-specific sessions in line with the Learning Outcomes and syllabuses of modules.
- Assessment: Deploy assessments appropriately as set out by the assessment team.
- Student Support: Set out measures to understand the learning needs of students on their modules.
- Feedback: Support students with timely formative feedback to the extent prescribed by each of the program specifications.
- Marking and Feedback: Mark and provide summative feedback within the prescribed deadline published by the Assessment Team.
- Programme Specification: Ensure that all expectations of the Programme Specification of respective Awarding Bodies and Universities under which modules are being taught.
- Module Reports: Produce appropriate module/unit reports.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Research: Contribute to the Business School's Research Department at ESL.
Competencies and Expertise: The successful applicant must demonstrate competence and experience in the subjects of statistics, ICT, law, and economics.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualifications: Master's degree and/or a PhD in the relevant area.
- Teaching Qualifications: PGCHE, MA in HE Practice, or FHEA, etc.
- Previous Experience: Previous lecturing experience for similar courses at HEI level.
- Technical Skills: Work in line with Blackboard / VLEs, MS Teams / Zoom.

- Industry Experience: Experience working in the industry of your subject.
