Service Charge Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organised and analytical Service Charge Analyst to join our team on a temporary basis.

This role offers an initial 12-week contract with the possibility of extension or transitioning into a permanent position.

You will play a key role in the service charge actuals and budget-setting process by producing detailed financial analysis, resolving exceptions, and liaising with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce thorough analysis of actual expenditure and estimate future costs for service charge budgets.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to invoice coding, apportionment, and the accuracy of logged data.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather supporting documentation, such as invoices and contracts.
  • Check the integrity of account data and analyse variances, ensuring accurate statements are prepared and approved.
  • Use multiple systems to extract budget and actual data.

Requirements:

  • Experience in service charge analysis, ideally within housing associations or property management.
  • Strong financial and data analysis skills, with the ability to monitor and resolve budget variances.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly with contract checking and cost allocation.
  • Ability to navigate and work across multiple financial systems.
