Service Charge Analyst Opportunity

Antony James Recruitment Ltd is pleased to be working with a client in Croydon to recruit an Interim Service Charge Analyst. This is a temporary position for 3 months, with the possibility of extension.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Service Charge Calculation and Issuance: Accurately calculate, construct, and issue estimated and actualised service charges, ensuring compliance with legal deadlines, contractual agreements, policies, and procedures.
  2. Customer-Centric Service Delivery: Provide expert service to service charge payers, resolving complex customer queries and working with internal colleagues to resolve complaints, disputes, and dissatisfaction.
  3. System and Process Development: Support the building and embedding of systems and processes required to transform Service Charge delivery.
  4. Legacy System Integration: Work with managers to integrate and manage two legacy systems and stock, creating standardised best practice and processes.
  5. Procedure Review and Maintenance: Review and maintain procedures to facilitate full recovery of service chargeable expenditure.
  6. Business Partnering: Develop strong business partnering relationships with key budget holders and service managers to develop scheme knowledge and enable accurate allocation and consistent setting of service charges.
Requirements
  1. Service Charge Analysis Experience: Experienced in service charge analysis, with a robust understanding of residential and commercial service charge management, including current legislative requirements and sector best practice.
  2. External Partnerships: Experience of working with councillors, the wider community, and other external partners.
  3. Financial and Numerical Skills: Excellent financial and numerical skills.
