Job Title: Head of Service

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Head of Service at The Cambian Group. As a senior leader in our specialist mental health services, you will play a crucial role in shaping the delivery of our care and support to children and young people.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a 12-bedded children's home, providing care and support to young people aged 12-18 who require additional support due to mental illness or concerns about their safety. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, including clinical staff, teachers, and support workers, to ensure the highest standards of care and support are delivered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each young person
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to ensure high-quality care and support is delivered
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of young people
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of finances
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • 2 years' experience working with children and young people in a care or support setting
  • At least 1 year's experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Experience of working in a children's mental health setting
  • Full enhanced DBS check and ability to provide references
