About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Recovery Specialist to join our team at Turning Point. As a key member of our Family Safeguarding Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and interventions to families affected by substance use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, and risk management plans to support families in achieving their goals and improving outcomes.
  • Develop and implement personalized recovery plans, including medically assisted recovery, to support individuals and their families.
  • Deliver outreach services, including home visits, key working sessions, and group work, to engage families and support their recovery journey.
  • Contribute to the overall aims and objectives of the Family Safeguarding Team by compiling data and progress reports, as directed.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting families.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in a busy environment, handling a substantial caseload, and working with individuals and families affected by substance use.
  • Deep understanding of the Recovery Agenda and the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relapse and other barriers to recovery, with a track record of DANOS compliance.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
