We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced health professional to lead the development of digital nursing documentation and informatics solutions within our organisation. As a Senior Matron Clinical Nursing Informatics Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical care through the effective use of digital technologies.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of digital nursing documentation and informatics solutions across the organisation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to inform the project board and ensure the delivery of key milestones.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing workforce to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
- Develop and implement quality assurance and improvement processes to ensure the safe and effective use of digital nursing documentation.
- Registered Nurse/Midwife with Nursing & Midwifery Council registration.
- Masters degree or equivalent qualification in a health-related subject.
- Nursing management experience, including resource management.
- Expertise and experience of applying NHS Wales Health & Care Standards into practice.
- Effective leadership skills, coaching, and mentoring experience.
- Experience and understanding of change management processes.
- High level of political awareness, capable of understanding the wider objectives of the organisation and its context within current assembly policy and strategic direction.
