We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Contract/Project Manager to join our team at The Solution Group Ltd. Based in the UK with nationwide travel, you will oversee and manage multiple contracts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract & Project Management: Oversee and manage all stages of steelwork contracts from inception to completion, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Cost Management: Handle all aspects of budgeting, including costings, forecasting, and financial control, to ensure projects are completed within allocated resources.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with draughtsmen, providing them with the necessary technical input and guidance to ensure project requirements are fully understood and met.
  • Site Surveys & Meetings: Conduct site surveys, attend client and site meetings to ensure project requirements are fully understood and met, and to address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Labour Management: Organize and oversee labour, ensuring resources are efficiently utilized and projects run smoothly, with minimal downtime or delays.
  • Deadline Management: Work to strict deadlines, ensuring contracts are completed to the highest quality standards, and meeting the expectations of clients and stakeholders.

About You:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in contract and project management within the steelwork industry (with a focus on architectural steel).
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of budgeting, costing, surveys, and labour management, with proficiency in relevant software and tools.
  • Leadership: Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously, with excellent organizational and leadership skills, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Communication: Strong communicator who can effectively liaise with clients, team members, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel nationwide, as the role involves managing contracts across the country, with flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
