Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join our team at Rolls-Royce SMR. As a key member of our IT Function, you will be responsible for delivering IT projects to scope, schedule, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities of others within the IT Team, the wider business, and the supply chain to deliver defined outcomes.
  • Directly work to deliver critical strategic change for our business.
  • Ensure initiatives are managed and documented in line with the requirements of the RR SMR Integrated Management System.
  • Provide effective leadership to project teams and take appropriate action where team performance deviates from agreed tolerances.
  • Monitor and control resources, revenue, and capital costs against the project budget and manage vendor performance to ensure project deliverables are delivered.
Requirements:
  • Multiple years' experience leading medium to large-size/complexity IT delivery projects using industry best practice techniques.
  • Competent at managing typical aspects of IT delivery projects, including planning, budgets, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, reporting, change, roadmaps, stakeholders, and benefits.
  • Clearly demonstrable experience delivering large-scale and complex ERP implementations and/or migrations, with a bias for SAP S/4HANA implementations in relevant industries.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in a number of project delivery methodologies and the suitability of each for different scenarios.
  • Familiar with agile methodology, such as Scrum, and able to take a lead in agile workstreams and teams working through an Agile methodology.
