About the Role

As an Environmental Caretaker at Peabody, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our estates. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all communal areas, including roads, grassed and paved areas, courtyards, garages, service roads, footpaths, and playgrounds, are kept in a clean and tidy condition.

You will be the first point of contact for residents, handling their issues efficiently and reporting any concerns to your area manager. Your excellent customer service skills will be essential in providing a high-quality, customer-focused caretaking service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning activities around the estate, including sweeping, cleaning, and maintaining communal areas.
  • Handle resident's issues and report any concerns to your area manager.
  • Work in partnership with key colleagues to manage effective service delivery and develop and improve Peabody's caretaking services.
  • Ensure that all aspects of environmental caretaking/cleaning services are covered.
Requirements
  • A full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Able to work in all weather conditions.
  • Experience within a caretaking/cleaning environment.
  • Able to demonstrate practical experience in the use of powered equipment.
