Learning Disability Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Learning Disability Nurse to join our Child and Adolescent Learning Disability Service (CALDS) team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
CALDS offers a range of services, including assessment, intervention, consultation, and training. Our team works closely with other agencies to provide comprehensive support to children and adolescents with learning disabilities.
The successful candidate will have a clinical caseload and will be responsible for providing assessments and interventions for children and young people in a community setting. You will work collaboratively with other professionals to develop person-centred care plans and Positive Behavioural Support Plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload of children and adolescents with learning disabilities
- Undertake clinical assessments and develop care plans
- Work collaboratively with the CALDS team to provide interventions and support
- Develop and contribute to the development of Positive Behavioural Support Plans
- Registered Learning Disability Nurse with current NMC registration
- Experience of working in a community learning disability setting
