Electrical Systems Engineer

AERIUS Marine UK is a leading provider of turnkey Marine Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Chilled Water, Refrigeration, and Fixed Firefighting systems. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop clients' requirements into viable system designs
  • Develop and manage the control philosophy for the HVAC system
  • Produce specifications for supplier/subcontractor deliverables
  • Manage all aspects of the HVAC control system design and the electrical equipment within the HVAC system
  • Manage the HVAC control systems interface with other ship systems
Requirements:
  • HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent trade qualification
  • Proven design experience with Marine Electrical Systems
  • Experience with naval electrical standards and classification societies
  • Proven client interface capability
  • Experience of PLC control and software design/specification
  • Experience in Control Panel design and specification
  • 2D AutoCAD and Foran
  • Experience of leading a small team and creating Bill of Materials (BOM)
