Electrical Systems Engineer

AERIUS Marine UK is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our marine HVAC solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop client requirements into viable system designs
  • Manage the control philosophy for the HVAC system
  • Produce specifications for supplier/subcontractor deliverables
  • Manage all aspects of the HVAC control system design and electrical equipment
  • Interface with other ship systems, including platform management, low voltage electrical distribution, and condition monitoring equipment
  • Produce design documentation, including interface specifications, software specifications, and electrical load schedules
  • Liaise with project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
  • HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent trade qualification
  • Proven design experience with marine electrical systems
  • Experience with naval electrical standards and classification societies
  • Proven client interface capability
  • Proven supplier management capability
  • Experience with PLC control and control panel design
