Job Description:

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers with Cat D PCV experience to join a leading company based in Rochester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Safely Operating HGV 1 Vehicles: Ensure the safe transportation of goods and adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Loading and Unloading: Utilize forklifts or electric pump trucks to efficiently load and unload goods.
  • Maintaining Accurate Records: Ensure all records are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Communicating Effectively: Collaborate with the team and customers to ensure seamless communication.

Requirements:

  • Valid UK HGV Class 1 & Cat D PCV Licence: Possess a valid UK HGV Class 1 and Cat D PCV licence.
  • Valid CPC Card: Hold a valid CPC card.
  • Valid Taco Card: Possess a valid Taco card.
  • Proven Experience: Demonstrate proven experience in similar roles.
  • Good Understanding of Traffic Laws: Possess a good understanding of traffic laws.
  • Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime.
