We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers with Cat D PCV experience to join our team at Staff Assist UK Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating HGV 1 vehicles and buses, loading and unloading goods using forklifts or electric pump trucks, and ensuring the safe transportation of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely Operate HGV 1 Vehicles and Buses: Ensure the safe operation of HGV 1 vehicles and buses, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods using forklifts or electric pump trucks, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of goods.
- Safe Transportation of Goods: Ensure the safe transportation of goods, adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of goods transported, including weight, quantity, and destination.
- Adhere to Traffic Laws and Safety Regulations: Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with the team and customers, ensuring clear and concise communication.
Requirements:
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 & Cat D PCV License: Possess a valid UK HGV Class 1 and Cat D PCV license.
- Valid CPC Card: Possess a valid CPC card.
- Valid Taco Card: Possess a valid Taco card.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience in similar roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
