Cavendish Nuclear is a leading provider of nuclear services, and we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Hinkley Point C. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects, working closely with our clients and stakeholders to achieve project goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the preparation of project estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including risk management, quality control, and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in quantity surveying, project management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project or similar tools.
