Position Overview
We are in search of a Pensions Administrator to join a newly established team dedicated to providing Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) services to our clients and customers. Candidates should possess at least one year of experience within the pensions sector, preferably focusing on Bulk Purchase Annuities and/or Defined Benefit Pension Scheme Administration.
Department Function
The EQ Pensions Operations team is committed to delivering outstanding service across a diverse range of clients. Our Pensions Administration teams, including the newly formed Bulk Purchase Annuity units, are tasked with maintaining precise and compliant pension records for our clients and scheme members. Our administration function is crucial for all aspects of members' pensions, supported by our dedicated personnel and advanced Administrator platform, which features integrated mobile-friendly web tools. These cutting-edge tools and contact center capabilities empower members to engage with their retirement planning effectively.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be accountable for:
- Delivering administration services for both buy-in and buy-out scenarios, adhering to established targets.
- Prioritizing the member experience in all transactions.
- Interpreting and applying Trustee membership changes to the insured population during buy-in administration.
- Completing and reviewing casework while providing constructive feedback.
- Addressing customer inquiries through both oral and written communication.
- Gathering and escalating Trustee and client inquiries as necessary.
- Drafting tailored correspondence in response to customer and client queries.
- Compiling and analyzing data to generate routine reports.
- Executing pension calculations, including manual computations.
- Reviewing Trustee pension calculations during buy-in administration.
- Engaging in projects and ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Team Leader.
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, Trustee administrators, and client representatives.
