Si Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a pivotal role in managing our accounting records and ensuring smooth day-to-day finance operations.

This part-time position offers flexibility with a schedule of three days per week, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Process daily cash receipts and match them to the relevant invoices in our accounts receivable ledger.
  • Manage other day-to-day banking transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct weekly reconciliations of accounts receivable and report to our bank invoice finance facility.
  • Implement effective credit control measures to minimize bad debt.
  • Prepare recharge invoices and handle accruals and prepayments with precision.
  • Post journals to our general ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist our Financial Manager in completing the monthly management accounts, providing valuable insights and analysis.
  • Complete month-end bank and other control account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Contribute to the development of budgets and financial plans, supporting our business growth.

**Requirements:**

  • Hold a qualified or actively pursuing an accountancy qualification, such as AAT.
  • Manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential, as we value transferable skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Uphold professionalism and ethics in all financial dealings, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality.
