Role Overview:
The successful candidate will oversee and direct the field services teams, ensuring a consistently high standard of service delivery to clients. This role includes accountability for performance metrics, profit and loss management, and fostering relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster and maintain a robust safety culture.
- Encourage a mindset of continuous improvement within the Field Services team.
- Manage the operational budget for the Field Services division, focusing on productivity, cost efficiency, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with various operational teams to enhance productivity and service quality.
- Monitor and evaluate Field Service performance, ensuring compliance with established processes and achievement of key performance indicators.
- Implement the Field Services transformation initiative aimed at enhancing customer experience and expanding service offerings for scalability and flexibility.
- Oversee the effectiveness and efficiency of field service delivery methods and protocols.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer demands in collaboration with HR recruitment and onboarding teams.
- Deliver exceptional value to clients by exceeding their expectations and serve as a point of escalation for field service-related issues.
- Act as a mentor to the management team, enhancing their skills and confidence.
- Contribute to the long-term strategic planning for the Field Services division alongside other business leaders.
Qualifications:
- Strong educational background (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
- Significant experience in managing diverse field service operations or a similar senior role.
- Proven expertise in budget oversight and financial accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and cultivate high-performing teams.
- Experience in managing customer relationships and resolving issues effectively.
- Background in the utilities sector or related fields is desirable.
- Experience in executing large-scale transformation initiatives is a plus.
- Thorough understanding of field service operations and industry best practices.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and industry regulations.
- Familiarity with data protection principles and GDPR.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on motivating and developing teams.
- Ability to coach and mentor to improve team competence and confidence.
- Excellent analytical skills for performance assessment and improvement identification.
- Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making processes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within budget and on schedule.
- Familiarity with field service management software and tools.
- Understanding of SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) regulations.
