About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at HMP Lewes, a category B male prison. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of pharmacy services, working closely with our healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of pharmacy services, including medicine management, administering medications, and patient counseling.
  • Participate in the day-to-day operational management of the pharmacy unit, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide sound patient counseling skills, treating patients with respect and dignity at all times.
  • Work autonomously and demonstrate self-motivation, with a strong ability to handle a wide range of situations.
