Part-Time Corporate Secretary

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Corporate Secretary to join our client, a specialist insurance service provider, on a part-time basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing complete corporate secretariat support to clients, working closely with the Assistant Corporate Secretary and mentoring them in company secretarial matters.
The role involves operating as Company Secretary, providing support to clients, and working with the Board. The ideal candidate will be Chartered Secretary ACG or FCG qualified with at least 5 years' experience, preferably gained in a professional services environment.
The business is looking for someone to work hand in hand with the Assistant Corporate Secretary, supporting and mentoring them as they learn more about company secretarial matters. The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with the option to work 3 days per week and flexibility on how the hours are worked.
The successful candidate will be happy working in a small team, willing to pick up basic tasks, and confident in dealing with complex share transactions, capital reorganizations, and distributions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide corporate secretariat support to clients
- Work closely with the Assistant Corporate Secretary and mentor them in company secretarial matters
- Operate as Company Secretary, providing support to clients and working with the Board
- Deal with complex share transactions, capital reorganizations, and distributions
Requirements:
- Chartered Secretary ACG or FCG qualification
- At least 5 years' experience in a professional services environment
- Ability to work in a small team and pick up basic tasks
