Position Overview

As a Retail Fit-Out Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of shopfitting projects from a client perspective.

Location: Midlands with travel across the UK

Key Responsibilities:

The Retail Fit-Out Project Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the management and design of fit-out projects while collaborating with various departments.
  • Planning and optimizing environments considering factors such as air quality, temperature control, lighting, and acoustics.
  • Coordinating maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of facilities.
  • Managing contracts for multiple services including HVAC, building maintenance, and signage.
  • Utilizing prior experience in shopfitting and property management to enhance project outcomes.
  • Applying knowledge of health and safety regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate for the Retail Fit-Out Project Coordinator position will possess:

  • A proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commercial mindset.
  • A desire for professional growth and the capability to work independently.
  • Experience with CAD software, as well as proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • A solid understanding of construction principles, mechanical and electrical services, and retail design.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A willingness to travel as required.
