Fit-Out Manager
A Tier 1 contractor is hiring for a Finishing Manager for a 4-month duration with the potential of being taken onto another project. The project will take place in West London.
About the role of Fit-Out Manager:
As a Fit-Out Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the work on a residential block consisting of around 60 flats, taking the project from frame to handover. You will be responsible for assisting to drive the internals, managing sub-contractors, and ensuring excellent health and safety standards. Additionally, you will deliver units to a high finish. The ideal candidate must come with 3+ years of experience.
Responsibilities for the Fit-Out Manager:
Liaising with colleagues and clients
Overseeing project schedules and ensuring working is completed on time
Monitoring budgets to avoid overspend
Supervising construction workers and subcontractors
Reporting on project progress to senior managers
Conducting quality and safety inspections
Ensuring work is finished to a high standard
Maintaining quality control checks
Coordinating teams
Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
Signing off and handing completed work over to the client.Requirements of the Fit-Out Manager:
