As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and advice on the estate, ensuring that the built environment is safe, efficient, and effective.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans for the estate, aligning with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Provide expert advice on estates and facilities management, including budgeting, financial management, and risk management.
- Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including senior management, staff, and external partners, to ensure effective communication and partnership working.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and contractors, ensuring effective procurement and contract management.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, ensuring that the estate is operating efficiently and effectively.
- Significant senior management experience in a large organization, preferably in estates and facilities management.
- Chartered professional registration or accreditation in a relevant discipline, such as RIBA, CIOB, RICS, or CIBSE.
- Project management qualification or equivalent level of experience.
- Evidence of continuing professional development and leadership development.
- Strong commercial and contracts management experience, with a focus on financial, legal, and risk management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead complex negotiations and build strategic relationships.
- Ability to write and present complex information, including business cases, tender specifications, and board reports.
