Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical CAMHS Practitioner to join our Eating Disorder team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to support the Specialist Eating Disorder (SPEED) service by assessing and treating young people with eating disorders.

Main Duties
  • Provide assessment and intervention, as well as specific evidence-based therapies, to children and young people with eating disorders and mental health problems.
  • Offer consultation and support to front-line professionals, providing training, advice, and direction on understanding and supporting children and young people with eating disorders.
  • Deliver early intervention programs and provide support at times of transition between services.
Requirements

The successful candidate must be able to practice autonomously, exercise judgment, and accept responsibility for ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to children and young people with eating disorders.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post, and Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
