Materials Management Specialist

This is a full-time, permanent role within the Technical Services Line (TSL) team. As the primary interface for all warehouse materials management activities, you will be responsible for ensuring day-to-day materials control meets TSL planned objectives and complies with Planning / Materials Management Procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in TSL project and platform planning meetings to understand materials distribution priorities.
  • Promoting alignment and adherence of client inventory processes to offshore / onshore TSL personnel.
  • Supporting the load out of shipping containers when issued with dispatch packaging lists.
  • Liaising with the Deck Foreman and Offshore Construction Supervision to ensure correct shipment and placement of materials in appropriate containers.
  • Inputting appropriate data into Maximo and IGRIS.
  • Checking shipping draft manifests to ensure correct materials are being shipped/transported.
  • Compiling delivery notes when required, and conducting visual inspections of all TSL goods receipted.
  • Ensuring correct documentation of Hazardous materials - Dangerous Goods/Special Wastes (SEPA)/DEFRA.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping in all areas and undertaking stock takes where required.
  • Applying Health, Safety and Environmental Policy and Safety Management Systems, and reporting any non-conformities.
  • Maintaining/updating temporary equipment registers in accordance with site procedures (if required).

Desired qualities/qualifications include:

  • Previous experience in an offshore environment (preferred).
  • Forklift experience.
  • Manual Handling.
  • Driving License (preferred).
  • Computer literacy, including use of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
