We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at DO & CO Airline Catering. As a key member of our production unit, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist with budgeting and cost estimation for maintenance projects.
  • Provide on-the-job training to team members and ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to prevent equipment failure and reduce the risk of accidents.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Inspect and maintain building systems, including heating, ventilation, and plumbing.
  • Order spare parts and materials as needed to support maintenance activities.
  • Document performance and repairs, and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate with external contractors as needed to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs.
  • Manage the workload and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and practices on site.
  • Manage conflicting priorities and prioritize business needs.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with team members and other departments.
  • Conduct safety inspections as scheduled and ensure all paperwork is up to date for audits.

  • 4-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations.
  • Experience with electrical, AC, and plumbing is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures, and maintenance.
  • Effective budgeting and performance management.
  • Fantastic organizational and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data-driven with the ability to influence different departments to suggest, implement, and track solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with the team and other departments in the unit.
  • Clear and engaging communicator with strong written and verbal English skills.
  • Ability to apply knowledge and skills to quickly solve problems when presented with an urgent issue.
  • Strong numerical reasoning ability.
  • Organize time effectively and prioritize tasks based on their level of urgency.
