Job Title: Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor

Join our team at Panasonic Avionics Corporation, a leading provider of inflight entertainment and connectivity solutions, as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and oversee the daily operations of our Heathrow line station, with occasional support for our Gatwick station.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with the latest technology in the aircraft industry, including the A350, 787/777, and 777/9. As a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of your teams and customers, managing inventory and logistics, and performing preventive maintenance on systems installed on customer aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate weekly shift patterns for site personnel in alignment with customer flight schedules.
  • Oversee inventory control and local logistics for customer and Panasonic Avionics capital assets.
  • Develop and implement schedules for preventive maintenance of systems installed on customer aircraft.
  • Maintain routine daily interactions with customers at the Line Maintenance level and liaise with local airport authorities.
  • Occasionally perform onboard maintenance activities and fill in for absent employees when required.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of direct reports, if applicable.
Requirements:
  • Background in Aircraft Line Maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of Safety Management in Aviation.
  • Qualified to satisfy regulatory licensing for assigned country or geographical region, and customer requirements UK CAA B1 or B2.
  • Experience as a lead/crew chief/supervisor/mentor.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint or equivalent products.
  • Ability to solve problems as they occur on the local level, not allowing the issue to progress further.
