About the Role

Cadent is seeking an experienced IT Portfolio Manager to lead our team of finance and governance associates. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent and proactive application of good financial practice and Cadent governance processes across the IT Portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the Agile practice alignment and integration with other IT functions, including the Portfolio Value Office, Product Lines, and Scrum Teams.
  2. Manage financial changes introduced by the Agile Transformation.
  3. Lead Financial & Governance improvements to enable continuous improvement of IT Agile practices.
  4. Support the delivery of products and value by the SAFe Agile Release Trains.
  5. Monitor the overall investment and financial performance of the IT department and report to Ofgem.
  6. Ensure Cadent finance policies are followed directly.
  7. Represent finance interests in all IT Portfolio meetings.
  8. Develop a strong understanding of IT control and governance framework.
  9. Apply leadership, planning, and influencing skills.
