Haematology/Oncology Staff Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at a leading specialist UK cancer centre. As a Haematology/Oncology Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cancer services.

About the Role

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating specialist care for patients with haematological and oncological conditions. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including administering Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatments (SACT), stem cell administration, and other new anti-cancer treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of patients
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication with patients and families
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in haematology and oncology
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid UK NMC pin
  • Experience in an acute nursing environment within a hospital setting
  • Haematology or oncology experience is desirable but not essential
