Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled FLT Operative to join our team at City Centre Recruitment. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and maintaining accurate records.
  • Warehouse Organization: Organize and stack goods in the designated areas, ensuring efficient use of space.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Team Support: Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including packing, labeling, and general housekeeping.

Requirements

  • Forklift License: Valid Forklift License (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck preferred).
  • Experience: Proven experience as an FLT Operative in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Communication: Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Physical Fitness: Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items.
  • Flexibility: Be adaptable, be able to work 3 shift 6-2/2-10/10-6 and the odd Saturday when needed.
