About the Role
Arla Foods is seeking a skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough tests and analyses of products and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collect and register samples, and send them out for analysis as required.
- Interpret results and escalate any non-conformances to the relevant department.
- Develop and implement action plans to address non-conformances and ensure compliance with procedures.
- Communicate and report results to the relevant department, ensuring timely and accurate information.
- Ensure that instrumentation is functioning correctly and calibrated, and that verified methods are used.
- Maintain laboratory stock levels and ensure that all necessary materials are available.
- Ensure laboratory safety and 5S levels are maintained at all times.
Requirements
- Ambition and drive to deliver high-quality results.
- Good or advanced Microsoft Office experience.
- Previous experience in data analysis is advantageous but not essential.
- A solid team player with excellent communication skills.
