Job Title: Chief Accountant

At Hanover Fox International, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading and managing our close-knit finance team, providing full support on financial matters to our Director of Finance, and ensuring the financial systems and records of our company and its subsidiary are accurately maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of financial objectives.
  • Provide financial expertise to the Director of Finance, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial systems and records.
  • Carry out month-end reconciliations, prepare quarterly accounts and budgets, and submit quarterly VAT returns.
  • Liaise with auditors to produce annual accounts and assist with financial and accounts queries from other departments.
  • Attend property and investment committee meetings and provide financial support to the committee.
Requirements:
  • A qualified accountant with significant experience in a mixed and complex environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff and external partners.
  • Professional, reliable, and level-headed, with the ability to work with limited supervision and a willingness to help out with whatever is needed.
  • Sage 200 experience preferred.
