We are a not-for-profit charitable society and housing association supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
The Role
We are hiring a part-time Support Worker to assist a gentleman in his 30s living independently in supported housing.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care and Support: Assist with personal care needs, such as dressing and showering, and provide one-on-one, person-centred support to promote independence.
- Household Tasks: Help with household tasks, including cleaning and laundry, and teach the individual to do these tasks independently.
- Medication Management: Assist with medication management and support the individual in taking their medication as prescribed.
- Shopping and Meals: Help with shopping for clothes and food, and prepare meals as needed.
- Financial Management: Support the individual in managing their own money and making financial decisions.
Working Hours
Be prepared to work flexibly, which could include shifts from 10am - 9pm, 10am - 2pm, or 6pm - 10pm, and work alternate weekends and bank holidays.

We support your professional growth as a Support Worker and encourage you to participate in meetings, work towards qualifications, attend training courses, and learn new ways of working.
