Job Objective

The main focus of this role is to facilitate the smooth operation of the Human Resources Team, contributing to a supportive and efficient workplace, ensuring that HR processes are executed effectively and are subject to ongoing enhancement, while fostering the development and growth of our personnel.

Core Duties

Onboarding:

Generate offer letters and contracts for colleagues in the Support Centre and Logistics.Verify Legal Right to Work in the UK across the organization and manage reports on expiring visas to maintain compliance.Conduct necessary reference checks for new employees based on their specific roles.Oversee and track recruitment incentive programs.

Transitions:

Create contractual amendments and correspondence for the entire organization.Act as the main point of contact for inquiries regarding the HR system, serving as a systems administrator and ensuring the accuracy of the central personnel database (Dayforce).Update and maintain the central personnel system (Dayforce) with all modifications related to roles, salaries, locations, line managers, and documentation.Process internal transfers and assist with recruitment for Autocentre and Retail staff.Draft secondment letters for all employees, implementing any necessary changes in Dayforce and maintaining monthly reports for the organization regarding secondment statuses.Handle Flexible Working modifications in Dayforce.

Offboarding:

Effectively manage the offboarding process for Support Centre and Logistics, including the preparation of leaver letters.Calculate holiday balances for employees throughout the organization.Coordinate with the Payroll team to ensure the processing of final payments.Assist Payroll with overpayment issues by drafting correspondence and establishing payment plans.Provide references for departing employees.

Administrative Functions:

Oversee and manage the People Support inbox.Conduct weekly and monthly reporting to assist with routine tasks.Support data collection for audits.Process invoices for the HR team.Engage in general administrative tasks and project work as needed.
