Job Description

TXM Recruit is seeking a highly skilled BMS Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Building Management Systems (BMS) in high-end residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily property service checks of BMS & control systems in commercial and domestic properties.
  • Monitor the system for faults and perform repairs as necessary.
  • Replace BMS parts, including actuators, control modules, wall controllers, and valves.
  • Download software when replacing parts, such as control modules, fan, and wall controllers.
  • Identify defective parts and order replacements through your line manager.
  • Check adequate spares are available.
  • Calibrate controllers and other equipment.
  • Oversee and liaise with specialist contractors.
  • Liaise with managers, supervisors, and colleagues to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered to clients and the company.
  • Ensure a professional approach is always delivered, with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly health and safety.
Requirements:
  • Experience in using TAC or Trend operating systems.
  • Experience installing or maintaining BMS control systems.
  • Preventative maintenance experience of all equipment by review and audit of materials and equipment periodically.
  • BS7671 17th Edition City & Guilds qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in 3-phase and star delta equipment.
  • Technical administration experience, including periodic reporting and upkeep of accurate maintenance and service records.
  • Experience attending to ad hoc maintenance calls and break-down repairs.
  • Significant proven experience.
  • Full clean UK driving license.
