The PracticeThe practice offers a unique opportunity for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to shape the future of the practice while focusing on clinical excellence. With a strong support system in place, the successful candidate can lead the clinical team without the burden of additional management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor the clinical team, providing guidance and support to Junior Vets.
- Handle more complicated surgical and medical cases, utilising experience to deliver high-quality care.
- Collaborate with the Practice Owners and Practice Manager to implement innovative ideas and enhance performance and care standards.
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice by driving forward new initiatives.
- Competitive Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum, with bi-annual reviews.
- No OOH or Sundays: Enjoy a strong work-life balance with no Out of Hours requirements and no Sunday shifts.
- Funding and encouragement for further studies towards veterinary management courses or clinical qualifications, as well as full funding for professional registration fees.
- For the right candidate, there is the opportunity to become a partner in the business.
- Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
- RCVS registration or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of veterinary experience.
