We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel Operations Director to lead our team at Gloucester Robinswood Hotel, Signature Collection By Best Western. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all hotel operations, managing department heads and staff, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and control costs, driving business growth and profitability.
- Lead and manage department heads and staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations and exceptional guest service.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures, driving business success and growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), making data-driven decisions to drive business growth and profitability.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hotel Operations Director or similar role, with a strong track record of success.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
- Financial management abilities, with a strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices, with the ability to adapt and innovate in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible hours availability, with the ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field, preferred.
