Commercial Contracts Manager

Plymouth

£47,000 per annum

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contracts Manager to join our team at Acorn by Synergie. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our commercial contracts, from contract negotiation to contract reviews with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contract Review and Negotiation: Review all contracts with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency with UK law and negotiate contract terms with suppliers to ensure the best possible outcome for the company.
  2. Contract Management: Conduct contract reviews with suppliers to identify potential risks and ensure they are mitigated, and collaborate with the buyer to agree upon the terms of the framework.
  3. Compliance and Governance: Keep up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations to ensure contracts are compliant, and provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.
  4. Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth contract management.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or Management.
  2. Experience: Previous experience in contract management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  3. Skills: Strong knowledge of UK laws and regulations related to commercial contracts, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proven ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
  4. Personal Qualities: High attention to detail and strong analytical skills, ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, proactive and solution-oriented mindset, and strong problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate potential risks.
