Commercial Contracts Manager Job Description

Are you a seasoned professional looking for a challenging role in contract management? We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contracts Manager to join our team at CV Library.

As a Commercial Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that contracts are compliant with UK laws and regulations, negotiating terms with suppliers, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to minimize risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review contracts with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency with UK law
  2. Negotiate contract terms with suppliers to achieve the best possible outcome for the company
  3. Conduct contract reviews with suppliers to identify potential risks and mitigate them
  4. Collaborate with the buyer to agree upon contract terms
  5. Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations to ensure contracts remain compliant
  6. Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth contract management
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or Management
  2. Previous experience in contract management, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  3. Strong knowledge of UK laws and regulations related to commercial contracts
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  5. Proven ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
  6. High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  7. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  8. Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  9. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate potential risks
