SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic school in Gloucester. The successful candidate will have experience in behavioural management for an ASD pupil and be able to provide a nurturing and engaging environment.

About the Role

This is a wonderful opportunity to work as a TA 1 on 1 with a SEN pupil. The ideal candidate will be patient, kind, and flexible, with a passion for inclusive education. They will also have previous experience working with children and be able to adapt to various situations and behavioural outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a nurturing and engaging environment for the SEN pupil
  • Work 1 on 1 with the pupil to support their learning and development
  • Use behavioural management techniques to support the pupil's needs
  • Communicate effectively with the pupil, teachers, and other staff members
  • Be flexible and adaptable to various situations and behavioural outcomes

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about inclusive education and has a kind and nurturing approach. They will be able to work effectively with children and be flexible and adaptable to various situations. The ideal candidate will also have previous experience working with SEN pupils and be able to provide a supportive and engaging environment.
