We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Psychologist to join our dynamic team at Turning Point. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality evidence-based psycho-social interventions to clients in North Somerset.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in clinically related administration, including the administration of questionnaires and standardized psychometric tests.
- Conduct audits, collect data and statistics, and contribute to research projects, teaching, and project work.
- Work with clients in a forensic field, providing tailored support and interventions.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Provide support and guidance to colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and best practice.
- At least a 2:1 degree in psychology and BPS Graduate Membership.
- Experience of working in a health or social care setting, preferably in a forensic field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
- Knowledge of the needs and difficulties of people with mental health and substance use problems.
- A competitive salary of £24,780 rising to £28,989 per year (Pro-Rata), with opportunities for progression.
